Teacher of the Year
Teacher of the Year Award 2010
Grazyna Zreda, Science Teacher at Tanque Verde High School, received our "Teacher of the Year" Award on Saturday, March 6, at the OSU Alumni Club of Southern AZ's Annual Spring Luncheon. In her modest way, Zreda credited her students as the real award winners.
Zreda was given letters of congratulations from OSU President Gorden Gee, as well as state senators, congressmen and our governor. She was awarded a plaque and $500.
Guest speaker for our Annual luncheon was David Fitzsimmons, Editorial Cartoonist for the Arizona Star. All attending were delighted by David Fitzsimmons' witty entertainment. His caricatures of several club members had everyone laughing.
In a subsequent March 12 letter from Honoree Zreda to Alumni Club Awards Committee Chair Dr. Patricia Gilbert, Zreda expressed "sincere gratitude to the Ohio State Alumni Club of Southern Arizona" for her selection in 2010.
